1. Our Warranty Commitment

Bluefox Technologies Limited aims to supply genuine IT equipment and technology products with the applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty. Warranty coverage, duration and available remedies vary by product and are determined by the warranty terms confirmed at the time of purchase.

If a product develops a fault during its applicable warranty period, contact our team with your proof of purchase and a description of the issue. We will help clarify the relevant warranty process and coordinate the next steps where the product is eligible.

Important: This page provides general guidance. The warranty documentation supplied with your specific product and applicable law determine the actual coverage and remedy.

2. What May Be Covered

Depending on the product and its warranty terms, eligible coverage may include:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Assessment, repair or replacement where approved under the applicable warranty.
  • Product-specific technical service through the manufacturer, supplier or an authorised service provider.
  • Parts or accessories only where these are included in the relevant warranty terms.

Warranty coverage is not identical across all products. Please check the invoice, warranty card, product documentation or terms confirmed at sale for the applicable period and conditions.

3. Situations That May Not Be Covered

Subject to the product's warranty terms, coverage may exclude faults or damage caused by:

  • Accidental damage, liquid ingress, impact, fire or other external causes.
  • Misuse, neglect, improper installation or use outside the product's specifications.
  • Unauthorised repairs, modifications, tampering or removal of identification labels.
  • Power surges, electrical faults or environmental conditions where excluded by the warranty.
  • Normal wear and tear, consumables or software and data issues where excluded by the applicable terms.

These are general examples, not a final decision on any claim. The applicable warranty terms and relevant law determine whether a specific issue is covered.

4. How to Request Warranty Support

To help us direct your request, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Bluefox: Call or email us with your product details, invoice or proof of purchase, model and serial number, and a description of the fault.
  2. Initial assessment: Our team will review the information and advise on the next step. Troubleshooting or assessment by the manufacturer, supplier or an authorised service centre may be required.
  3. Follow the instructions provided: Please wait for guidance before delivering or shipping the product. We will explain any applicable assessment or service arrangements.

5. What to Prepare for a Claim

When contacting us, please have the following information available where possible:

  • Invoice, receipt or other proof of purchase.
  • Product name, model and serial number.
  • A clear description of the problem and when it began.
  • Photos, error messages or other details that may help explain the fault.
  • Warranty card, packaging and relevant accessories, if available or requested.

Do not open, modify or arrange third-party repairs on the product before checking with us or the relevant warranty provider, as this may affect eligibility under the applicable terms.

6. Data, Accessories and Product Assessment

Please back up important files before handing over a computer, storage device or other product for assessment. Where possible, remove confidential information and sign out of personal accounts. Data backup or recovery may not be included in warranty service.

Only provide chargers, cables, accessories or other components when requested or when they are relevant to diagnosing the fault. A product may need to be inspected by the manufacturer, supplier or an authorised service provider before a warranty decision can be made.

7. Warranty Decisions and Remedies

If a claim is accepted, the available remedy—such as repair, replacement or another resolution—will depend on the product's warranty terms, the assessment outcome and applicable law. A particular remedy or turnaround time cannot be guaranteed unless it has been confirmed for the specific product or claim.

If the fault is found not to be covered, we will explain the next steps where information is available. Any out-of-warranty assessment, repair, parts or transport charges should be confirmed with you before proceeding.

8. Your Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Kenyan law. If you have a question about the warranty terms supplied with your product, please contact Bluefox Technologies Limited for clarification.
