RMA
Eligible products may be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to the terms below. All returns require a Return Authorization (RMA) from us first. Request RMA Form
Return Windows
- Within 14 days of delivery: New, unopened, standard-stock products in resalable condition. No restocking fee.
- Within 14 days of delivery: Opened but unused products, at our discretion. Restocking fee up to 25%.
- Days 15–30: Case-by-case, with our approval. Restocking fee up to 25%.
- After 30 days: No refunds. Eligible products may be exchanged or returned for credit toward a future purchase, at our discretion. A defective product will be repaired or replaced under warranty (see Defects below).
How to Return
1. Request an RMA at service@bluefoxtechnologies.co.ke or +254202318289 before shipping anything. Returns sent without an RMA will be refused.
2. Ship the product in its original packaging with all components, manuals and accessories. The customer pays return shipping unless we sent the wrong item or it arrived damaged or defective.
3. We inspect every return on arrival. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method after inspection.
Refund Deductions
An approved refund may be reduced by the restocking fee, the original outbound shipping charge, the replacement cost of missing components, and the value of any promotional item not returned.
Non-Returnable Items
The following are non-returnable unless we give written authorization:
- Special orders: products built to order, custom-configured, or ordered from the manufacturer specifically for the customer. Special orders cannot be cancelled once we have placed the order with the manufacturer.
- Projector Bulbs
- Power Adapters
- Ink Cartridges and Toners
- UPS Batteries
- Out of Warranty Items
- Items bought and used after 30 Days
- Damaged items
Shipping Damage and Wrong Items
Notify us within 72 hours of delivery, with photos, and keep all packaging. We will handle any carrier claim and repair or replace the product at no cost to you.
Defects
- Within 30 days of delivery: we will repair, replace or refund the product, at our discretion, with no restocking fee.
- After 30 days: defects are covered by the warranty and handled by repair or replacement, not refund. New microscopes carry the full manufacturer’s warranty plus one additional year from New York Microscope Company. Reconditioned microscopes carry a one-year warranty.
International Orders
Customs duties, import fees and taxes are the customer’s responsibility and are not refundable. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless we approve otherwise. Report defective products within 72 hours of delivery for return approval.
Payment Fees
Bank wire fees and admin fees are non-refundable..
